Hey!

My name is Emily Jones, and I am so excited for my 2nd year as the librarian at Pleasant Knoll Elementary School.  Before coming to PKES, I was a librarian in Columbia and taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade.

I graduated from the University of South Carolina in December 2021 with my Masters of Library and Information Science.  I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University.

I can't wait to help your child find all of their favorite books in the library this year!  Seeing their excitement when I tell them it is time for book checkout is one of my favorite times of the day!
